3 Skincare Routine Essentials: A Guide To Your Daily Skincare Routine

Hello People, hope you are doing well and taking good care of yourselves. I am all set to share with you something interesting that I hope to help you in your skincare. Do you guys ever think of having your skin all happy without effort? well, that's not possible of course. We all want clear spotless skin without effort. We all are confronting with acne problems, open pores, scars, and blemishes on daily basis but have you ever realized what mistakes you are making in treating your skin. Treating your skin right will be the only solution to your problems.

So let's get started. Today I am going to tell you Three Skincare Essentials that can actually help with the skin breakouts that you have to deal with regularly.

MOISTURIZER: This is the most important step to be included in your skincare. Moisturizer Hydrates and soothes skin and helps to lighten the visibility of blemishes on the skin. Many people tend to skip moisturizing their skin due to many reasons. One of the active reasons can be summers, especially for oily skin people. Even I myself used to think the same. For me, moisturizing meant acnes, more oil, and flaky skin but the reality is the complete opposite of my old ripped thought. Moisturizer in fact helps to balance excess sebum secretion thus resulting in avoiding excess oil on the face. Moisturizer forms a layer between our skin and external environment keeping our skin unaffected and protected from impurities and dirt which also means less acne and blemish problems. Moreover, Moisturizer helps to maintain the elasticity of our skin.

For dry skin people, moisturizer is a must to have the product as their skin continuously requires hydration to keep their skin soft and supple.

Also, today moisturizers are available with decent SPF figures(15-30 SPF on average) to protect your skin from sun damage. So a moisturizer with dual benefits is a worthy deal for your skin.

INGREDIENTS: Coconut oil, Hyaluronic acid, Glycerin, Jojoba oil, Propylene glycol, Urea, Proteins are the ideal ingredients for a good moisturizer.

TIPS: Applying moisturizer on a slightly wet face is more effective for oily skin people.

Hence whether it a dry, combination, or oily skin everybody needs to moisturize the skin on daily basis instantly after cleanser. One more thing to remember is that your whole body needs moisturizing so as to keep it remains hydrated.

TONER: Another must-have step in your skincare. Toning is a very important step when it comes to pore care. Many people have open wide pores visible on their skin. Toner helps to reduce those pores to avoid their visibility thus providing an even tone finish to your skin. The most important point is pores can never be removed forever but yes they can be reduced with the right care. Enlarged pores can result in more acne that results in zits on your face. So a right toner suitable for your skin is essential.

USE: It is recommended that toner should be used both day and night time before a moisturizer. But for me, it works once a day and I particularly use a toner at night followed by a soothing moisturizer suitable to my skin. My skin is oily type+sensitive and trusts me guys pores are always a major issue on my skin and toner is the only way to keep my skin saturated and even-toned.

INGREDIENTS: Witch-hazel, Aloe vera, Apple cider vinegar, Rosewater, Tea tree oil, Hyaluronic acid, Salicylic acid, Alpha hydroxy acid are ideal ingredients for a good toner.

TIPS: You can use Gulab Jal as an alternative to toner. Also, alcohol-free toner should be used as it can dry skin out and lead to greasiness skin in the long run which can make your acne even worse.

SUNSCREEN: Now it's time for the most important step that most people forget in a delusion of 'not an important step to follow'. But in actual it is the most essential step to be followed especially while going out or at the time of sun exposure. Sunscreen helps to protect your skin from sun damage and even out your skin tone.

Sunscreen helps to prevent the breaking down of skin and dark spots and patches on the skin caused by sun damage.

People having acne-prone skin often think that sunscreen can worsen their acne. Let me clear this myth today. Sunscreen can actually help to heal your skin over time as it provides protection to your skin from a broad spectrum of UV rays which can cause damage to skin cells thus contributing the biggest share in premature aging.

Many people often get confused about how to select a sunscreen whether with UVA protection or UVB protection. Let me tell you that both UVA and UVB protection is important.

What are UVA AND UVB rays:

UVA rays: long wave ultraviolet A rays penetrate deep into the dermis, the skin's thickest layer which can result in premature aging.

UVB rays: Short Wave Ultraviolet B rays damage the outermost layers of your skin, causing sunburn.

Now, what about SPF and PA?

SPF shows the level of protection from UVB rays while PA shows the level of protection from UVA rays.

So a sunscreen with both aspects will provide higher protection to your skin.

BEST CHOICE: Generally a sunscreen with SPF 50 and PA+++ is the best choice to prevent your skin from sun damage.

USE: Take an apt quantity of sunscreen and apply it all over your face and neck and all exposed areas to the sun and you are all ready to face the sun. It is recommended to reapply sunscreen every 3-4 hours during continuous exposure to sun and 5-6 hours normally.

INGREDIENTS: Oxybenzone, Titanium dioxide, Avobenzone, Zinc oxide, Octinoxate are the ideal ingredients for a good sunscreen.

All the steps must be followed on daily basis. Following all these three steps can actually make a difference to your skin. So first try out these steps for at least two weeks and you will get positive results for your skin.
